WILLIAM WALKER HOSE CO. EMS

The William Walker Hose Co. started the process of organizing a medical corps by purchasing its first ambulance in July of 1953.  After several months of first aid training, the ambulance was place in service that October, becoming one of the first ambulance corps in Lackawanna County.

Today, the William Walker Hose Co. provides EMS service to the boroughs of Mayfield and Jermyn twenty-four (24), seven (7) days a week.    Contact us at:  wwhc@echoes.net
