There was a contradiction on the recycling flier that was distributed last year about container lids.  To clarify:  DO remove lids and caps and dispose of them in the garbage.

Reminder: DO break down and flatten your cardboard boxes.  DO rinse bottles and containers before recycling. DON’T put contaminated cardboard or wet paper in recycling bins. DON’T put plastic bags in your recycling bins.  NO diapers, NO clothing, NO styrofoam, NO food, NO compost, NO yard waste in the recycling containers.
