Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. the Planning Commission of the Borough of Mayfield, Lackawanna County, will conduct a Public Hearing whose purpose is to consider public input and determine the boundaries of a “deteriorated area or areas” pursuant to Pennsylvania’s Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance Act (LERTA). Public input will help determine the location of boundaries of a “deteriorated area or areas” in accordance with Title 722 P.S. Section 4725 of LERTA. The determination of “deteriorated area or areas” is a pre-condition to the Borough of Mayfield acting on a proposed LERTA Ordinance. The meeting will be held at the Mayfield Municipal Building, 739 Penn Avenue, Mayfield PA.
